Health- so-so
My eyes are blurry so I am not sure how long this post will be because it is hard to focus on the words on the screen.
It seems that yesterday my sinus infection decided to remind me it is still present by swelling around my eyes, mostly above my eyes.
I thought I was just having ocular migraines one after another, making me go blind again and again only unlike my past ocular migraines, these were painful. I am used to them so just thought that something was making it really act up.
Then I looked in a mirror... and discovered that above my eyes is very swollen, to the point that my eyelids disappear under the swelling when I open my eyes and it seems that it is that swelling that is causing the pain and recurring blindness.
If I had insurance I would have gone to the doctor today to do something about it... the last time I had swelling (that time it was the entire left side of my face) it meant a few IV's of antibiotics and surgery to clear the infection out of my sinus cavities and I am pretty sure that is what they would want to do this time as well.
I will NEVER have another sinus surgery... that was, by far, the most horrific experience of my life. I have had many surgeries, some under local anesthesia that failed and I would rather go through that again than let them do another sinus surgery.
My health in other areas is not that great as well, but as always... the squeaky wheel gets the grease and my sinuses are squeaking like mad.
I am going to give them a few more days to settle down and if they don't by this weekend then I will probably be making a trip to the ER to at least get some IV antibiotics (need to tank up on fluids anyway) and hope that calms it down.
